Continuing our tradition of collaboratively remembering people- Many people on the CANI-Net mailing list contacted Jane after seeing her Instagram post after the death of David Hockney. She thought, given his significance to so many of us, that it would be good to engage with a collaborative writing/ art - making session remembering David Hockney. Perhaps this could form another chapter in the collaborative remembering book that Goya and Jane are editing?
Jane will start us off talking about our memories of David Hockney - his life and work - and then we will write and/ or make art which we will share with each other.
Reminder: this open space session is confidential to the group and will go no further BUT any work you send to Jane after this session may go into a draft book chapter ...( which you will all have a chance to ammend / edit) so you may want to carefully edit what you spontaneously write - or you may not!
